We have just posted the recordings from the 2023 WACC conference. All are fully captioned and should be accessible to you with the exception of the Cidilabs Presentation, which is available but not yet captioned. All recordings are organized alphabetically within their track – Keynote Addresses, Accessibility, Equity, Flex Mode, Open Educational Resources, Other, Pedagogy/Andragogy, and Technology.

The schedule for WACC is linked below. There may be a bit of juggling or adjusting before the conference, but this should be pretty close to a final version.

We have a great conference planned, including session tracks on technology, equity, pedagogy/andragogy, and everyone’s favorite track – “other”. (Actually, the “other” tracks look pretty cool. I might meet you in one of them).

In addition to the fabulous sessions, we have two great keynote speakers, a Canvas Roadmap session, where Instructure gives you a sneak peek of what you can expect from Canvas in the future.

Finally, don’t forget the social aspect. Now that we are all let out of our houses, this is chance to reconnect with old friends, make some new friends, buttonhole that super presenter you were so excited by, and network with your peers from the CTC system and beyond. In addition to the breakfast, lunch, and extended breaks, we’ve got a social hour planned for Thursday after the conference. Look for updates on entertainment and noshing opportunities in the near future.

We’ll send updates out, but also add information on our FAQ page, such as the best swag ever (at least it better be – I browbeat a committee to choose them).

We have just finished reviewing the sessions for the 2023 WACC and we are excited to be bringing you a wide variety of great sessions, including presentations on pedagogy/andragogy, equity, accessibility, and technology, as well as the standard “Here’s a great way to use Canvas” sessions you expect.  

We will be publishing the full schedule and session list here in the next week, so bookmark this page for updates.  We will also be posting updated information on food, swag, parking, and logistics as the conference approaches.
