To maximize access, we encourage campuses to host on-site watch parties where participants can gather, join the event together, and maybe even enjoy some snacks! What’s the registration plan?
Thanks to Seattle Colleges hosting us in Zoom Events, we have space for 1,000 virtual participants this year! We’ll be opening participant registration in a few days with 750 general admission tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. We’re reserving the remaining 250 seats for individual participant registrations, watch party logins, and special role invitations (presenters, guest speakers, student panelists, etc.). If any reserved seats go unused, they’ll be added back into the general registration pool as they become available. All participants will need to RSVP by completing an online sign-up/registration form via Zoom Events.
For campuses that purchased institutional registration
Many of you have 20 or more participants interested in attending, so be sure to forward the sign-up info to your campus ASAP—tickets will go fast!
We’ve added your college domains to our Allow List, so that participants from paid campuses can register.
For campuses that didn’t purchase institutional registration
We’ve reserved a limited number of $99 tickets for participants from campuses that did not purchase institutional seats.
Participants will pay through an online portal, and once payment is complete, we’ll add their college email address to the Allow List, enabling them to RSVP.
What if the tickets sell out?
To maximize access, we encourage campuses to host on-site watch parties where participants can gather, join the event together, and maybe even enjoy some snacks! If tickets sell out (and we’re hoping they do!), we’re preparing to livestream the event through a third-party platform like YouTube if needed. We’ll also be recording, so you can catch any sessions you miss.
We’ll follow up in a few days with step-by-step participant registration instructions for you to share with your campus, so watch for more registration info coming soon. Please contact Alissa Sells at asells@sbctc.eduwith questions.
Please share with all who may be interested in attending …

Empowering Education Through Generosity
The evolving dynamics of higher education and generosity play a pivotal role in empowering learners,, educators, and institutions. Generosity is the sharing of knowledge, sharing of power, and the co-creation of policy and process with learners and colleagues. It is the heart of open education, equity, diversity, and inclusion, genuine collaboration, and flexible, successful, technology-enriched teaching and learning. It is the heart of reconciliation with Indigenous peoples. Join us to envision and actively engage with a flexible and adaptable generosity-oriented education model that empowers us, our colleagues, our institutions, and most especially our learners to succeed.
Day 2| Brinda Sivaramakrishnan
Tapping into Collective Consciousness

The challenging work of dismantling harmful institutional precedents and building strong campuses calls for a space to reflect. Join us for a gathering that provides time to honor our individual experiences, engage in deep rest, and restore our energy reserves with breath and meditation techniques coming from an ancient lineage. Enjoy this hour empowering with a facilitator who is authentically connected to the lineage and ceremony behind the techniques.

We don’t have a single day registration option, but we can offer you these registration tips:
If you can only attend face-to-face for one day, please choose the in-person registration option. This will allow you to attend virtually on the other if you desire to do so.
If you’re not sure how many days you will be able to attend or how you’d like to attend – virtually or in-person, please choose the in-person registration option. This will allow you to decide later how you’d like to attend.
If you can only attend virtually, please choose the virtual registration option. This will allow you to attend one or both days of the conference remotely.
Question: Where can I park and how much will it cost?
Answer: Parking is free and a detailed Tacoma Community College (TCC) campus map is available under the Map section on the WACC 2024 Sched site. The basic campus map can be viewed on TCC’s Maps and Directions page. If you’d like to print a copy of the conference locations map below, please click on the image to open and download the PDF.
NOTE: TCC will be enjoying Spring Break at the time of our conference, which means campus parking will be plentiful for this event! Please note that there are several parking entrances closed due to construction. The best lot to park in is A.
Question: Is anyone carpooling?
Answer: We don’t have any plans to coordinate carpooling between colleges. Please check in with your campus eLearning office to see if carpooling has been organized for your campus.
I heard there is going to be conference swag for in-person attendance. If it’s a t-shirt, where do I indicate my size?
Answer: The conference planning team is in the process of selecting conference swag. While sizes are not guaranteed, if a t-shirt or jacket is chosen, the planning team will need your size preferences in order to provide a variety of sizes for attendees to choose from. Please indicate your preferred clothing size when you register.
Question: Will there be WiFi?
Answer: Yes! Login information will be provided during the event.
Question: What is your refund policy?
Answer: No refunds are available this year, however, you can transfer your ticket to another individual.
Question: Is my registration/ticket transferable?
Answer: Yes, if you find you cannot attend, please email our Eventbrite administrator, Sarah Griffith at sgriffith@lowercolumbia.edu, with a subject line of “WACC 2024 Ticket Transfer” to let us know who you’d like to transfer your registration/ticket to; their full name, their college affiliation, their college role and their best email.
