What’s the registration plan?

Thanks to Seattle Colleges hosting us in Zoom Events, we have space for 1,000 virtual participants this year! We’ll be opening participant registration in a few days with 750 general admission tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. We’re reserving the remaining 250 seats for individual participant registrations, watch party logins, and special role invitations (presenters, guest speakers, student panelists, etc.). If any reserved seats go unused, they’ll be added back into the general registration pool as they become available. All participants will need to RSVP by completing an online sign-up/registration form via Zoom Events.

For campuses that purchased institutional registration

  • Many of you have 20 or more participants interested in attending, so be sure to forward the sign-up info to your campus ASAP—tickets will go fast!
  • We’ve added your college domains to our Allow List, so that participants from paid campuses can register.

For campuses that didn’t purchase institutional registration

  • We’ve reserved a limited number of $99 tickets for participants from campuses that did not purchase institutional seats.
  • Participants will pay through an online portal, and once payment is complete, we’ll add their college email address to the Allow List, enabling them to RSVP.

What if the tickets sell out?

To maximize access, we encourage campuses to host on-site watch parties where participants can gather, join the event together, and maybe even enjoy some snacks! If tickets sell out (and we’re hoping they do!), we’re preparing to livestream the event through a third-party platform like YouTube if needed. We’ll also be recording, so you can catch any sessions you miss.

If you’re curious about the agenda, you can find the link to our draft schedule on the WACC FAQs page.

Questions?

We’ll follow up in a few days with step-by-step participant registration instructions for you to share with your campus, so watch for more registration info coming soon. Please contact Alissa Sells at asells@sbctc.edu with questions.
